Join us for Groundstone’s first (non-Covid related) Pop-Up event.
Including all the things we do best – Local * Seasonal * Styled * Collaboration.
Join Groundstone and Richard Learmonth in a special Curated and Styled ‘Producer and Chef’ Experience, focussing on our region’s Summer.
** Imagine arriving at Groundstone and being greeted with a glass of local bubbles, enjoying a 4 course local lunch or dinner, with a specialty menu designed and curated to best showcase our local producers, region and seasons. All while surrounded by a table styled with foraged and grown florals and stems from local kitchen gardens and farms to really set the summer garden theme**.
Local Producers that will be showcased include Second Mouse Cheese Co and Nashdale Fruit Co, along with tastes of HungryBee Honey, Farmer Doug Spuds, Fourjay Hazelnuts, local wild foraged herbs by Richard and the Groundstone Team and a few special additions.

There will be two sessions run throughout the day on Saturday 12th February. The first session from 12:30-2:30pm and second session 6:30-8:30pm.

Sample Menu:

Henri gougeres filled with Quark and fresh chives

Freshly baked tart of heirloom tomatoes, Freida cheese, salsa dragoncello and fresh herb salad.

Zucchini flowers stuffed with Feta and Ricotta, fresh mint, pistachio and amaretti crumb.

Warmed Camembert with buckwheat and oyster mushrooms, wild foraged mushroom broth.

Crispy skinned pork belly braised in Whey and native river mint.

Vege sub – Pan roasted Halloumi, summer sweetcorn, roasted bullhorn peppers, warrigal greens and reduced Whey sauce

Farmer Doug’s Jacqueline potatoes thrice cooked with fresh herbs, chopped chilli and Maurice

Nashdale Fruit Co. garden salad with Quark and mustard seed dressing

Roobie Blue and mascarpone whip, Hungrybee yellow box honey and Fourjays Farm hazelnuts
